The Power and Strength of the Word

I love the version of this scripture that I read this morning (called the GNT.) I really enjoy finding new versions of the Bible. It makes the word become alive for me.

For it’s by Gods grace that you have been saved, through faith. It’s not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift. So that no one can boast about it.

Eph 2:8-9 GNT

The word has been a Rock to me and the greatest source of strength I've ever known. I can come to it anytime and drink and it becomes alive.

There’s just No way we’re not going to need it in this life. It’s become a part of who I am. It’s refreshing to my soul and I read it because I know its been written for me. ( It’s been written for You too.) I can have anything it says too, whether it be protection, provision, healing and anything really. So can you.

I know I’m still learning. But I’m growing, and I’ve seen the fruit of the word in my own life and in the lives of others around me. It’s our lifesource and our strength and it been a great comfort and joy to me these many years.

I praise God for His living water. It’s something I carry with me everywhere I go.

It’s also a gift in our lives which we can share with our spouse, our children and those around us. I love how it’s a continual reflection of Jesus to me. I experience Him through His word and the joy He brings into my life is something out of this world.
