Not long ago I shared a story of how the Lord gives me prophetic words for my Uber drivers. As I continue to ride Ubers, I continue to get new words for my drivers. Here are a couple of the most recent stories.
Not long ago I got into my Uber and immediately I heard the Word ‘Forgiven!’ So I introduced myself to my driver and I told him the Lord speaks to me and that Jesus says he is ‘Forgiven’. At first he was quiet so I wasn’t sure what he was thinking. So I said ‘does this make sense to you?’ And He said ‘Yes!’ Then he started laughing joyfully and he kept saying ‘This is the Best day ever! This is the best news I’ve had all year! I could see a burden lifted as he was so happy. I told him, ‘because you are forgiven, Jesus wants you to walk and live as a forgiven son!’ And he promised he would. I could see he was deeply affected by what the Lord was saying to him. I told him, I don’t know anything about you. But Jesus does. He knows you and he sent me to give you this word Today’. He clearly had something weighing on his heart for a long time which by his laughter and joy I could see that he was able to release during this time.
Then I saw a picture of him driving through a wall of glass. It takes discernment to figure out exactly what the Lord is trying to say Sometimes Ha. So usually I just tell them what I’m seeing. I said ‘You’ve been trying to move forward, but it’s felt like there’s a glass wall that’s been blocking your way ahead. But Jesus has just restored you and declared that you’re totally forgiven and now I see He has broken through the glass wall so you can drive through. I said ‘is this what has been happening to you?’ He said ‘Yes!’ And He looked amazed! And I said ‘Well, now Jesus has broken through for you!’ I’ve never seen a more thankful Uber driver! His heart was bursting with gratefulness to the Lord.
I explained to him how God sent His Son as the sin punishment for all humanity so that Jesus could reconcile us back to God. And forgiveness is why Jesus He died. The Lord also told me to tell him to get back into fellowship with other believers. He took everything I was saying right into his heart. And I could see these words were having a great impact on him.
It’s amazing what one word from the Lord can do for someone. Many people these days are living under great burdens, but Jesus wants you and I to release them and to bring them freedom through His name, to tell them He has a new beginning and a new life for them, to tell them that they’re forgiven, loved and now, because of Jesus they’re reconciled to God.
A while ago as I got into my Uber I saw my driver was a young man. Immediately I heard the Lord say ‘This is My Son!’ So I introduced myself and told him what the Lord said. He didn’t say much at first. Maybe He didn’t know what to say. But the Lord continued to speak to me about him.
Then I heard ‘This is One who sits at My table’. The Lord also told me he needed a new Car for his Uber Business. I asked him if this was right and and He said that it was. The stream of words continued to flow and I shared everything with him that I heard. By the time we were close to my house I saw He was crying silently. He was clearly deeply touched to hear the Lord tell him Who He really was. He didn’t appear to have much on the outside, but Jesus knew his heart and He was greatly loved by the Lord. He said ‘This is a good day!’
So often we’re praying for answers to our own prayers, but we can be the Answer to someone else’s prayers. Every time we step out of the house it’s the perfect opportunity for us to be an expression of Jesus love to this broken world. People need Jesus, they need His love, they need encouragement and to know that everything’s going to be Ok. They need for us to be willing to reach out and be His heart of compassion to them. I hear Him saying this to you now ‘I’m Ready, when You are.’
